Depression

Depression

Depression affects more than 16 million adults in the United States. Symptoms include intense sadness, loss of motivation, feelings of worthlessness, and sometimes suicidal thoughts. By focusing on values, worthiness, and goals, Happy Hour Counseling is able to restore hope and direction to those suffering with depression bringing the person out of the dark and into the light.

Anxiety

Anxiety & Trauma

Anxiety disorders can include stress overload, significant traumatic events, OCD, panic, and phobias. Individuals suffering with anxiety may feel trapped and controlled by their symptoms. By easing the connection between triggers, anxiety can be reduced for a full, flourishing life.

Addiction

Addiction

Addiction is a life-changing disease that robs individuals of their most valued relationships and goals. Happy Hour Counseling has years of experience working with individuals that struggle with addiction by healing the pains that lead to relapse. Individuals struggling with addiction can heal, break out of the frustrating cycle, and live fulfilling lives they deeply deserve.

What we do

Happy Hour Counseling provides one hour sessions to address depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, and stress disorders. EMDR

EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a special therapeutic intervention that uses eye-movements or other types of bilateral stimulation to wake up the brain for learning and healing. Useful for trauma, anxiety, depression, phobias, and more!

Happiest Hour

Happy Hour Counseling provides individualized treatment to help you achieve your happiest hour. Focusing on the whole-self, Dawn wants you to live your best life possible by targeting shame, building resilience, and reducing stressful responses to life's challenges. Come experience your happiest hour yet.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

One of the most tried and tested therapies available, cognitive behavioral therapy assists individuals in challenging unhelpful thinking patterns, improve emotional resilience, and challenge old perspectives. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helps individuals with anxiety, depression, and compulsive disorders such as addiction heal and find freedom from symptoms.

Family and Couples

Dawn began her counseling career, over 5 years ago, helping families and couples find peace of mind and cohesion during trying times. Working with a family system rather than individuals can provide deeper, longer lasting change. Family and couples therapy addresses the relationship between individuals rather than the individuals themselves.
